Program Description
Our Saplings preschool program is designed for children ages 3-5. Together we embark on a learning adventure using the forest, garden, outdoor sensory play space, and the schoolhouse Yurt as our classroom. Children in this class will explore the natural world through a balanced rhythm of free play and integrative, adult-led activities. Every day we will root ourselves into a life-long love of learning and nature through creative expression with developmentally appropriate, nature-based arts and crafts activities, storytelling, music, games, and outdoor exploration.
Ages
Saplings preschool students are 3-5 years old and potty trained (Exceptions can be made for children with special needs. Please inquire for specifics)
Rates
Saplings Rates:

2 days per week: $320/month

3 days per week: $475/month

4 days per week: $610/month
A 10% discount is applied for the second sibling.
(*Sliding scale tuition is available on a case-by-case basis, and one full tuition scholarship for a family in need is available as well. Please email or call to inquire more about sliding scale tuition/scholarship details.)

Activities
We’re fortunate to be located on an ideal piece of property in Lummi Island, WA. Our day will consist primarily of play-based learning. In addition we will explore:
Fiber arts and crafts
Nature arts and crafts
Organic Gardening
Wilderness skills
Music and Storytelling
Suggested Gear
"There is no bad weather, only bad clothing!" Come prepared for outdoor play, rain or shine!
