Strong Trees Enrichment Programs
Ages 13 +

Strong Trees (Beginning Fall of 2023)

Ages 12+

Our Strong Trees homeschool/after school enrichment programs offer teens a variety of student-led, integrative, project-based supplementary courses designed to help them make connections, deepen their understanding of the world, one another, and themselves, and allow them to explore a variety of interests that will help them navigate their futures.

Using our outdoor and Yurt classroom space, students at Root and Rise embark on a guided learning journey.  Our skilled enrichment teachers help provide knowledge and information to inspire and encourage self-directed and passion-pursuit learning.  Classes are project-based, meaning that each unit of study centers around a student formulated project of their own design and put into action the knowledge they have attained.  When applying lessons into real-world projects, information becomes relevant, applicable, and easier to retain because it means something to the individual learner.  Our goal is to provide the space and supplementary basic knowledge of a variety of subjects that will allow students to let their own individuality, interests, skills and talents, and ideas soar, rooting them in a life-long love of learning so that they can rise into innovators and change-makers of the future.
